Urgent: 3 volunteers needed in Tappahannock tomorrow
Get your free bumper sticker: Remind your friends to vote
| | |
| Diane -- Do your friends know that they need to get out to the polls and vote? Reach out to them on Facebook right now and we'll send you a free bumper sticker to say thanks. This race couldn't be tighter in battleground states, and your friends' votes could make the difference. In 2000, Florida came down to 537 votes. Of all of your Facebook friends, what if just one of them could cast a decisive vote for President Obama? Make sure your friends know to get to the polls -- it's the easiest thing you could do to help us get the word out, RIGHT NOW. Share the image below with the voters you're connected with on Facebook: This is important. Thanks for seeing this through to the end, Diane. Two simple words
| |
| Diane -- I didn't want this to get lost in the excitement of everything that will happen tomorrow, so I wanted to take a moment, right now, to say two simple words that I cannot say enough to all of you who have traveled this journey with us: Thank you. Thank you for the kindness, warmth, and love that you have shown me, Barack, and especially our girls -- your support and your prayers mean the world to us. Thank you for the hard work and energy and passion that you have poured into this campaign -- from all those hours knocking on doors and making calls to all those times you dug a little deeper and gave what you could when it was needed the most. Like me, you have done all this because you love this country, and you care deeply about the world we're leaving for our kids and grandkids. And you've done it because, for these last four years, you have had a chance to see the man I've known for the past 23 years: A man of honor and integrity who knows what he believes and stays true to his values. He is an honest man who knows the facts and gives them to us straight -- a man whose strength and resolve to build a better tomorrow has never wavered. With your help, over the past four years, Barack has been able to start moving this country forward. He's rescued our economy from the brink of collapse. He's passed health reform and ended the war in Iraq. He's fought to help women get equal pay for equal work, make sure students can afford college, ensure that our seniors can retire with dignity, and that our veterans can get the benefits they have earned. For four years, Barack has been fighting to give every single one of us a fair shot at that great American dream, no matter what we look like, where we come from, or who we love. He's been able to do all of this only because of people like you -- because of your hard work, determination, and commitment. And tomorrow, everything we've been working for and fighting for is at stake. Tomorrow, we will decide whether we'll keep moving this country forward for four more years. So make sure to tell everyone you know to vote, and then help every last supporter get to the polls before tomorrow night. You can even make calls to voters from the comfort of your own home using our call tool. Our family has been truly blessed to share these past four years with all of you -- and we can't wait to continue our work together for the next four years. So tomorrow, let's get out there and finish what we started: http://my.barackobama.com/What-You-Can-Do Thank you again for everything you've done and everything you will continue to do to bring about that change we all believe in. | Diane -- Before people you know cast a ballot, make sure they know exactly how far this administration has taken us. Forward this: ------------------- What is this? Every day until Election Day, we'll send you something that makes the case for voting for Barack Obama. What can I do? If you like it, we ask that you share it with any friends, family members, and neighbors you know who are still making up their mind about who to vote for (and everyone knows some). All you have to do is pass it on -- forward it, share on Facebook, or on Twitter. Done. What else? If you spot something that's especially persuasive or inspiring, or if you want to share your own graphic, essay, or personal story, send it on to forwardthis@barackobama.com and we'll pass the best ones along. Click here to check out all of our "Forward this" posts. With two days to go in this election, and millions of voters still making up their minds, it's the job of everyone who supports President Obama to let everyone else know who they're voting for this year -- and why. |

Every Diane who's voted
| | |
| Diane -- This is cool: You can see exactly how many people named Diane have already voted. Take a look at that. Then share it with your friends so they can see how many people with their names have voted, too -- and look up their polling place. Bottom line: We need every Diane -- and everyone else, too -- to make it out to the polls to support President Obama. So help get the word out -- and the vote: http://my.barackobama.com/Your-Name Thanks, Yohannes Yohannes Abraham Deputy National Political Director Obama for America P.S. -- Did you vote already? If so, let us know. Or if you need to find your polling place, do that here. | |

☎ Time is running out - can you make some calls?
| | |
| President Obama needs you on the phone, Diane. It's simple: In a race as close as this one, we win by getting enough people to the polls. But we'll only get it done if everyone who cares about this election steps up and helps out. That's where you come in. For a lot of voters out there, the difference between casting a ballot or not comes down to a single conversation with someone like you. So don't waste another minute -- start reaching out to voters using our online call tool right now: This couldn't be more urgent. You know firsthand that other voters in key states like yours are seeing negative ad after negative ad attacking our progress and distorting President Obama's record, practically every time they turn on the TV. That's the other side's strategy. And while Mitt Romney and the Republicans are outspending us on the air, we can still win if we outnumber them in a major way at the doors and on the phones. We've been doing just that, but we have a whole lot more voters to reach, and not a whole lot of time to do it. That's exactly what the call tool is for -- but it'll only make the difference we need if people like you take advantage of it. Start making calls right now: http://my.barackobama.com/Start-Calling-Now And sign up for your get-out-the-vote call shifts, too: http://my.barackobama.com/Call-Tool-Shifts Thanks, and have fun with it! | Diane -- Drop what you're doing for a few minutes and check out two new videos that really get at where this campaign has been and where it is going. The first video is one of my all-time favorites of this campaign -- check it out: Then, take a moment to watch a video the President recorded to thank supporters like you, and to share with you our plans not only for the next two days, but the next four years: I can't say it enough: This campaign wouldn't be here without you. But none of that work really matters if we don't run as hard as we can all the way through the finish. Thanks again for all your help -- now let's go win.
