A proof point

Diane -- Earlier this month we saw the clearest proof point for the centrality of All On The Line's role in the fight to end gerrymandering and map manipulation.

In North Carolina, a state with some of the most unfair maps in the country, a panel of judges ruled that the state's General Assembly districts were partisan gerrymanders -- so partisan, they said, that the maps violated the state's constitution. So, they ordered that a significant portion of the maps be redrawn.

Thanks to supporters like you, All On The Line provided immediate support on the ground after the court's order. Volunteers demanded transparency and fairness throughout the court-ordered redraw. All On The Line engaged folks from Wilmington to Asheville to the research triangle to make sure their voices were heard.

This is exactly the kind of grassroots engagement we'll need if we're going to hold legislators accountable during the 2021 redistricting process -- a process that will define districts for the next decade.

All On The Line has proven that its campaign works, providing a vehicle to demand fairness throughout the next round of redistricting. But they can only continue their incredible work with your support. Can you contribute to keep funding All On The Line's fight for fair voting maps?

The court's ruling was a milestone for the people of North Carolina -- and for all voters across the country. But as we've seen, progress requires us to be vigilant to keep up the momentum.

In 2021, states across the nation will redraw their electoral maps. It will be on all of us to ensure that fairness and transparency are pillars of that map-drawing process. This next round of redistricting will determine the fate of our elections for the next decade.

We have to work together to make our voices heard, and that's the kind of work All On The Line is fueling in states like North Carolina. And it's work that makes me proud to stand side by side with you in this movement.

Thank you for being a part of it.

Monday's deadline, President Obama's announcement, and the Democratic Unity Fund

We're all on one team, and our eventual nominee will need a united party behind them as they compete with Donald Trump.

DemocratsJoin us.

We're two days away from one of our most critical fundraising deadlines of the year, and I wanted to give you a quick update on how the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund is doing:

President Barack Obama

The good news: Since President Obama launched the fund, over 30,000 donors have come together to support the trained organizers, up-to-date voter data, and modern cybersecurity our eventual nominee will need to compete with Donald Trump and the RNC's fundraising machine.

Q3 Deadline Countdown

The bad news: Donald Trump and his team have raised over $13 million since the announcement of an impeachment inquiry this week. Meanwhile, we still haven't reached our goal.

I cannot think of a more critical moment to support a fund that will back our eventual nominee and Democrats nationwide in 2020.

Donate $3 to the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund before Monday's deadline to provide the much-needed support our eventual nominee and Democratic candidates up and down the ballot will need to win.

While Donald Trump and the RNC's recent fundraising numbers are intimidating, I want to make one thing clear to you: We don't have to match Trump and the GOP's fundraising numbers dollar-for-dollar in order to win in 2020. But we absolutely have to outwork them, and we have to maintain our fundraising pace.

The Democratic National Committee is the only party organization working to ensure Democrats win from local office to the Oval Office in the years ahead. And we're relying on grassroots supporters like you to back that work ahead of Monday's deadline.

Donate $3 to the Democratic Unity Fund before Monday's end-of-quarter deadline to support the infrastructure building it will take to beat Donald Trump and Republicans nationwide.

More soon,

Tom

Please give me a second to explain why it's so important we start paving the path to win in 2020 right now

Just a couple of months ago, my last boss (President Obama) helped launch the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund.

DemocratsJoin us.

Just a couple of months ago, my last boss (President Obama) helped launch the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund.

The fund is a promise that our eventual nominee will have a rock-solid party ready to lift them to victory the day the general election begins -- on July 17, 2020.

That means a contribution made today won't sit on the shelf until we select our nominee. Every dollar will be used to fund organizers, innovative data and technology, and groundbreaking research that will help defeat Donald Trump and his allies up and down the ballot next year. This work requires the backing of grassroots supporters like you, so I have to ask:

Will you contribute $3 to the Democratic Unity Fund before Monday's end-of-quarter deadline? Our party can't get this work done without you, and your support before Monday will go a long way.

I worked on President Obama's campaign both in 2008 and for his reelection, so I know the incredible amount of infrastructure our eventual nominee will need to defeat Donald Trump and his cronies. Luckily, the Democratic Party is already working on paving the pathway to victory in 2020.

The DNC is assembling and paying young organizers in key battleground states, building world-class data systems to mobilize voters, and shaping the narrative about how Donald Trump and Republicans are hurting American families. those efforts won't reach their full potential without your support before this end-of-quarter deadline.

Invest in that work by making your first $3 donation to the Democratic Unity Fund before Monday's deadline.

Thanks for being a Democrat!

As President Obama's former chief of staff, I cannot underscore enough the degree to which Donald Trump's actions are damaging our country

I am not going to sugarcoat it: It will be an uphill battle to take back the Oval Office and seats nationwide next year, and we must be ready.

DemocratsJoin us.

As President Obama's former chief of staff, I cannot underscore enough the degree to which Donald Trump's actions are damaging our country and undermining our standing in the world.

In less than a year, we'll have the chance to nominate a Democratic candidate who will not just undo that damage, but build boldly off the progress we made together under President Obama's leadership.

The DNC is already implementing the strategies our eventual nominee will need to win in 2020: A program to recruit, train, and pay young organizers to work next year's election; a War Room that is shaping the narrative about how Trump is hurting American families; and a landmark Data Warehouse that will completely change how campaigns use and share data, just to name a few.

Each of these programs demands our support to reach its full potential and to defeat Donald Trump and his allies in 2020. So, I have to ask:

Will you make a $3 contribution before Monday's critical end-of-quarter deadline?

Restoring the United States' leadership in the world; igniting a clean energy revolution; cutting the uninsured rate by nearly half with the Affordable Care Act. These are all gains made under President Obama -- and we must elect Democrats who will fight to protect and build on that legacy.

I am not going to sugarcoat it: It will be an uphill battle to take back the Oval Office and seats nationwide next year, and we must be ready. That's why the Democratic Party and I are counting on you in this important moment.

Make a $3 contribution to the Democratic Party ahead of Monday's critical deadline.

All of my best,

Denis

Former Chief of Staff to President Obama

P.S. Donald Trump's campaign just announced they raised a staggering $13 million in 24 hours, not to mention the over $200 million they've already raised this year. We need you with us. Rush a $3 donation to the Democratic Party now, before we close the books on Q3.

SNEAK PEAK: Redistricting U Welcome Packets

To say I was excited when President Obama announced our training initiative would be an understatement -- but honestly, I'm even more excited to finally meet with AOTL volunteers this weekend!

Hey team -- Look, I'm not going to lie. When President Obama announced Redistricting U last month, you better believe I called my mom to celebrate and then immediately reshared all his social media posts. To say I was excited would be an understatement. But honestly, I'm even more excited to finally meet with AOTL volunteers this weekend!

The All On The Line crew from HQ is headed to New Hampshire and Florida this weekend -- and it's the first time we're all coming together as a team! For the past few months, I've just been a name in your inbox and folks like you have just been voices on our volunteer calls. But now, the AOTL team is finally putting the finishing touches on the "welcome packets" and getting ready to hit the road!

The fun starts this weekend -- but we still have 19 more trainings in communities across the country. That's a lot of snacks, my friends. As we finalize all the snacks, supplies, and welcome packets, can we count on you to make a donation to our training fund? We've received 944 contributions to the fund so far and I'd really love to get us to 1,000 before this weekend.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately.

I am truly pumped to meet the people who make the work work -- we don't have an organizing program without those folks. Y'all are the grassroots movement that makes change possible.

And while I'm thankful for President Obama launching Redistricting U, I know this training initiative is only possible because of the support of grassroots supporters who have chipped in to make it happen.

Can I count on you to make a donation to the AOTL Training Fund before our first (ever!) Redistricting U trainings begin this weekend?

Whether you're new to the movement or have been organizing for change for years, you are essential to this fight and I'm proud to be part of this team with you.

Thanks for your support,
-- Mallory Long
Training Director

update

With our team headed to our first training locations this weekend, we wanted to give you a quick update from AOTL headquarters.

Diane,

Last month, President Obama launched the Redistricting U Founding Members fund -- because we cannot build a strong grassroots movement without the support of grassroots donors.

We initially set a goal of 1,000 Founding Members, but after reaching that number (in less than a week!) we set our sights higher and increased the goal to 5,000.

Here's where we currently stand: 4,305 Founding Members -- just 695 people away from our goal!

Will you be one of the 14 people we need from Virginia to step up and become a Founding Member?

Our team is headed to Florida and New Hampshire this weekend for the first Redistricting U trainings. We're excited for these first trainings and the nineteen that follow shortly -- we want each one to be a great experience -- and that'll take resources. Can you help us hit our goal before this weekend?

As President Obama said in his announcement, training is at the heart of organizing. It's how we empower local volunteers to be leaders in the movement for fair maps. But we can't do it without your support.

Help us make Redistricting U a success by becoming a Founding Member.
