With our team headed to our first training locations this weekend, we wanted to give you a quick update from AOTL headquarters.

Last month, President Obama launched the Redistricting U Founding Members fund -- because we cannot build a strong grassroots movement without the support of grassroots donors.
We initially set a goal of 1,000 Founding Members, but after reaching that number (in less than a week!) we set our sights higher and increased the goal to 5,000.
Here's where we currently stand: 4,305 Founding Members -- just 695 people away from our goal! Will you be one of the 14 people we need from Virginia to step up and become a Founding Member? If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately. Our team is headed to Florida and New Hampshire this weekend for the first Redistricting U trainings. We're excited for these first trainings and the nineteen that follow shortly -- we want each one to be a great experience -- and that'll take resources. Can you help us hit our goal before this weekend?
As President Obama said in his announcement, training is at the heart of organizing. It's how we empower local volunteers to be leaders in the movement for fair maps. But we can't do it without your support.
