Thermometer counting to $25,000

Diane -- After The New York Times exposed the GOP's $20 million plot to intimidate voters ahead of the election this November, AOTL set an end-of-month fundraising goal of raising $25,000.

We want to make our message clear: we cannot stand idly by while bad actors try to suppress the vote. In fact, nearly 30,000 AOTL supporters have contacted their members of Congress in the past few weeks to demand action on common-sense election reforms.

When President Obama reached out this week, he said that voter suppression cannot go unchallenged. It will be an uphill battle to ensure safe, fair, and accessible elections -- but we believe in the power of a strong grassroots movement. Can we count on you to pitch in? We're only $5,347 away from hitting our goal of $25,000 by midnight.

We need to continue supporting grassroots advocates on the ground and working tirelessly in our target states ahead of this November and the 2021 redistricting cycle.

Help us. Donate now so we can reach our $25,000 fundraising goal -- there are only a few hours left before our big deadline!

The task of protecting our democracy right now is vitally important. If we organize together, work together, and persevere together, we can restore our democracy to all of us -- the people.

re: President Obama's call

We sent you a note from President Obama earlier this month. Take a look, then donate to support the Democratic Unity Fund before tonight's deadline.
DemocratsJoin us.

Earlier this month, President Obama reached out to loyal Democrats like you with an important message: We're running out of time to make sure Joe Biden and Democrats down the ballot have the resources they need to win. Midnight marks May's end-of-month FEC fundraising deadline, and we still need 36 more donors from Montross to pitch in.

Our FEC deadline is at midnight tonight.

You haven't donated to the fund yet, but your strong commitment as a Democrat shows me you recognize the importance of uniting our party by supporting Democrats in Montross and nationwide. That's why I'm asking you to step up before midnight:

Become one of the just 36 more donors from Montross we need to donate $7 to the Democratic Unity Fund before tonight's deadline. I hope you'll read Barack Obama's message below, and then contribute to elect Democrats everywhere on November 3.

In unity,

Tom

Subject: re: my announcement

One year ago this month, I asked this grassroots team to make an investment in our democracy's future by donating to the Democratic Unity Fund.

Now, with just 168 days until the election of our lifetimes, I am asking you to get involved in this race by making your very first contribution to the fund today.

What we urgently need in order to restore America's founding ideals is a strong, unified Democratic Party -- and we don't have any time to waste before making that mission a reality. The Democratic Unity Fund began as a promise to our eventual nominee and Democrats down-ballot that they'd have a well-resourced DNC at their backs in the general election. Today, I am asking you to help me make good on that promise by doing all you can to help elect my friend Joe Biden to the White House and uplifting Democrats in every corner of our nation.

We're now under six months away from November 3. Take it from someone who knows: That is not much time when it comes to running a successful presidential campaign. That's why I'm asking you to make an important commitment today:

Will you make your first-ever $7 contribution to the Democratic Unity Fund today? I know times are tough for many of us right now, but if you're financially able, it'd go a long way in our fight to elect Joe Biden and Democrats in all 50 states.

When I helped launch the Democratic Unity Fund alongside the DNC in May of last year, our political landscape looked dramatically different. We had a historically wide field of presidential primary candidates who had yet to even debate, and we never could have imagined the economic challenges we'd be facing today.

Yet despite that uncertainty, this team came together to make a powerful commitment: No matter who won, we pledged to support the eventual nominee -- not to mention candidates down the ticket -- in their fight to restore Democratic leadership to our government.

So much has changed since the Democratic Unity Fund was first launched. Over 198,935 supporters have contributed directly to the fund, and those investments have already been put to work to build a historically strong Democratic Party. But this simple truth still remains the same: It will take all of us unifying around our common purpose to win back our country this year.

Donate $7 -- or any amount you can -- to the Democratic Unity Fund today. Even a modest contribution will make a big difference in our fight to elect Joe Biden and Democrats across the nation.

I have witnessed both the compassion and the grit of this grassroots team, and folks like you continue to inspire me every day.

Thanks for being by my side,

Barack Obama

The stakes in this election have never been higher

I was shocked when President Trump said he was still set on repealing the Affordable Care Act.
DemocratsJoin us.

I've seen more than a few Republican attempts to attack the progress that President Obama and I won together. But I'll admit I was astounded when President Trump said he was still set on repealing the Affordable Care Act in a moment as dire as this one. In the midst of a global pandemic, he's still willing to put millions of Americans at risk by ripping away their access to health care -- and all for partisan politics.

As a piece of legislation that President Obama and I worked hard on together, the ACA is close to my heart. But this is about more than our legacy. By making lousy attempts like this to push his agenda, Donald Trump is actively putting American lives in harm's way. We simply cannot afford four more years of Trump and his administration -- and fighting back starts with funding key aspects of our 2020 strategy like the Democratic Unity Fund before tomorrow's end-of-month deadline.

Will you split your first $10 donation to my campaign and the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund ahead of tomorrow's deadline to help elect Democrats up and down the ballot this year?

The stakes in this election have never been higher. Over the last few months, we've seen how wholly unfit Donald Trump and his allies are to lead our nation. We must hold him and thousands of other Republicans accountable at the ballot box on November 3.

To do that, we've got to amp up the data and technology to find our voters where they are. We've got to hire organizers who will reach out to folks in their communities. And, most of all, we have to unite as a party to expand our Democratic House majority, take back the Senate, and win the White House.

If you can, please contribute $10 to my campaign and the Democratic Unity Fund before the DNC's critical deadline tomorrow. Even a couple bucks would go a long way to help Democrats win from local office to the Oval Office this year.

Thanks for your support ahead of this important deadline -- it means a lot.

My best,

Joe

Joe Biden

P.S. Health care, jobs and the economy, climate change, and so much more are on the ballot this year. It's up to us to make sure that Democrats come out on top, which is why I'm asking: Will you split a $10 donation between my campaign and the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund before tomorrow's deadline?

The path to progress

The stakes are high and the consequences of indifference will last a decade. Can I count on you to choose action, Diane?

Diane,

One of the biggest threats to democracy is indifference. In fact, the folks who manipulate and distort electoral maps depend on the inaction of voters. Voter suppression, gerrymandered districts -- these are all tools bad-faith politicians use to try to silence your voice and discourage you from engaging in the political process.

And now, as a public health crisis has magnified the obstacles too many face to vote, we're seeing attempts to further obstruct election reforms that would make voting safer, fairer, and more accessible.

Voter suppression cannot go unchallenged. We need folks from places like Raleigh, El Paso, and Montross to choose action over indifference.

You can start by donating to All On The Line to help fund their critical advocacy for common-sense election reform. All On The Line will also help you connect directly with your members of Congress so that you can tell them that you support solutions like expanding vote-by-mail, early-vote, and online voter registration.

We know the path to progress is not a straight line, and it's never easy. But every 10 years, we have a chance to change the trajectory of our country through the redistricting process. If we want fair maps, we need to protect the right and ability to vote.

The stakes are high and the consequences of indifference will last a decade. That's a long time to look back and wish we'd have done more. Can I count on you to choose action, Diane?

Thank you for your support,
Barack Obama

re: tomorrow’s deadline

President Obama and Joe Biden are counting on you to show your support today.
DemocratsJoin us.

Tomorrow is the most important FEC deadline of the general election thus far, and that means we don't have an hour to waste. We must step up our game if there is any chance of putting Vice President Joe Biden in the White House and electing Democrats up and down the ballot in November.

Countdown to May 31 at 11:59 PM

The simple truth is that Donald Trump and the GOP have a tremendous amount of cash-on-hand. We don't have to match them dollar-for-dollar, but that doesn't mean we can take a step back. Democrats should continue doing what we've done all along: Making strategic investments where and when they matter most.

That's why your support of the Democratic Unity Fund today could not be more crucial. President Obama announced the fund over a year ago because he understood how important it is that Democrats start preparing early for what is shaping up to be the election of our lifetimes. The fight is just getting started, and as Joe Biden and the DNC start scaling up our operations at this critical stage of the general, your help is greatly needed to maintain this historic momentum we've already established.

According to our records, we need 77 more folks from Montross to donate before tomorrow's deadline if we're going to stay on track to meet our goal. Can President Obama and Joe Biden count on you to chip in $7 to the Democratic Unity Fund before tomorrow's deadline?

I cannot emphasize this enough: The success of our party depends on the strength of our grassroots. And that is what the Democratic Unity Fund is all about.

The DNC has made historic investments in battleground states, voter protection efforts, and its tech and data infrastructure. That is all thanks in no small part to supporters like you. For these important programs to make a real impact on this fight for our country's future, Vice President Biden and the DNC need you to take action and donate today.

Please, donate your first $7 to the Democratic Unity Fund before tomorrow's important deadline and demonstrate your commitment to electing Democrats up and down the ballot. I'm looking for 77 more supporters from Montross to take a stand before tomorrow at midnight.

Thanks for doing your part,

Sam

Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Democratic National Committee

P.S. Joe Biden has what it takes to get this country back on track after a disastrous three years under Donald Trump's administration. He is a compassionate, determined leader whose values align with the founding principles of this nation. We are at a turning point in America's history, and there is simply too much at stake to sit on the sidelines. Donate $7 before tomorrow's deadline to help elect VP Biden and Democrats all across the country.

I need you

It's not enough to just win the White House if we're going to affect change.
DemocratsJoin us.

In just a minute, I need to ask you to split a $10 contribution between my campaign and the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund. First, I hope you'll lend me a moment to share a few important lessons I learned while running alongside President Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012 that'll be key to winning this Election Day:

  1. Our values as Democrats resonate with a majority of Americans -- but it's on us to tap into that power and mobilize people to vote. The DNC's rich depth of voter data and strong voter protection department are key here, and scaling up these parts of our 2020 strategy while it's early in the race will be central to getting out the vote.
  2. It's not enough to only win the White House. The combination of President Obama's leadership, a House majority, and a Democratically-controlled Senate gave our party the strength to pass the Affordable Care Act and insure millions of American families. If we want to pass the bold policies our country needs to heal, we'll need to win seats at every level in addition to winning the Oval Office.
  3. We can't get any of this done without a strong DNC. No matter what office a Democrat is running for, the DNC's resources will be indispensable to my campaign and to Democrats running to hold the House, flip the Senate, and win competitive offices down the ticket on November 3.

Scaling up the tools and strategies it will take to win at every level simply can't happen without a fully-supported Democratic Unity Fund -- and time is running out to invest in this important work before it's too late. These crucial investments are powered by grassroots supporters like you, so if your financial situation allows, I'm asking you to help out in this pivotal moment for our campaign:

Split a $10 donation between my campaign and the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund. Democrats across the country are relying on your invaluable support before tomorrow's fundraising deadline.

The DNC's list-building efforts, data overhaul, and technological advancements have proven vital as campaigns across the nation -- including mine -- adapt to this unprecedented and ever-changing new landscape. This crucial work is only possible thanks to grassroots donors pitching into the Democratic Unity Fund -- and it can only continue if we all do our part to keep the fund fully supported through the general election.

With a well-funded Democratic Unity Fund, a strong DNC, and your support, I have faith that on Inauguration Day I'll be sworn in alongside a Democratic majority in the House, the Senate, and state legislatures across the country.

Donate $10 to my campaign and the Democratic Unity Fund before tomorrow's deadline to have a major impact on helping me and Democrats nationwide win our races on Election Day.

We'll win this together,

Joe

Joe Biden
