re: Obama's announcement and Virginia

Momentum is on our side, but we're counting on you to help us finish strong.
DemocratsJoin us.

With all the dire news in the world right now, I wanted to take a moment to share three points of good news about the Democratic Unity Fund -- and then ask you to make your first contribution to the fund:

  1. As of today, this is how many people have contributed to the Democratic Unity Fund from Virginia:

There are many Democratic Unity Fund donors in your state.
  2. Since President Obama announced the fund last May, over 191,535 Democrats have come together to support it.

That's crucial, because the Democratic Unity Fund is key to avoiding the mistakes our party made in 2016. Together, we're making sure Vice President Joe Biden and Democrats down the ticket are in the strongest position possible to win in November.
  3. We're already putting the Democratic Unity Fund to work, implementing strategic programs that will help Democrats up and down the ballot.

    Battleground Build-Up 2020 states
Running Battleground Build-Up 2020 in these 12 battleground states wouldn't have been possible without this team coming together to support the Democratic Unity Fund early on.

That's the good news -- but that doesn't mean we can stop now. The Democratic Unity Fund is designed to support investments in organizing, advancements in data and technology, and more -- and the earlier we can scale investments in that work, the better.

We're counting on committed supporters like you to help Democrats continue to ramp up these important programs, because truth be told, the stakes simply could not be higher.

If you can, make your first $7 gift directly to the Democratic Unity Fund today. Whatever you are able to give now while it's still early in the race will have an outsized impact come November.

Thanks for your ongoing support.
