I get asked this question all the time: "What is the NDRC going to focus on now that the 2021-2022 redistricting is over?"
I always give the same answer: Redistricting isn't over! Not by a long shot.
Voters are continuing to challenge gerrymandered maps in a dozen or more key states across the country – and as many as 19 House districts could be redrawn by the next election. Considering Republicans only hold the majority by four votes, that's more than enough to swing control of the chamber.
That's why the NDRC is continuing our fight for fair maps at the federal and state level, and I'm hoping we can count on your ongoing support. Will you make a donation right now to help us end unfair gerrymandering? Make no mistake, Diane: The road ahead is not going to be easy. We fully expect map-manipulating politicians to continue fighting tooth and nail for gerrymandered districts. In fact, some Republicans are even trying to undo fair maps!

Earlier this year, we were in a difficult spot. We had hit a fundraising slump over the holidays, and we were worried we might not have the necessary resources to continue powering the NDRC's fight for fair maps, voting protections, and a strong democracy.
But last month, this grassroots team showed up in a huge way, and we hit our February fundraising goal. With a critically important election just around the corner in Wisconsin, this was exactly the boost we needed.

Next month, Wisconsin will hold a state supreme court election, which The New York Times has called "2023's Biggest, Most Unusual Race." Republicans have already started pouring cash into Wisconsin, and experts are predicting this could become the most expensive state supreme court contest in U.S. history.
