Diane -- We could not agree more with what Eric Holder had to say about defeating Trump this year:
“This presidential election is an existential election.
Democrats have to win.” But that can't be the only thing Democrats accomplish in 2020. We have a singular opportunity to win down-ballot races and flip chambers to get Democrats a seat at the table for redistricting next year, and we have to take it. If we don't, Republicans could end up manipulating the maps for another decade.
In the words of President Obama, "In 2021, we have a once-in-a-decade chance to make sure the rules of the road for our democracy are fair and that we have districts that truly represent the people."
That effort starts with making sure all Americans can vote in 2020. But with Republicans spending $20 million to prevent fair voting, we've never needed your help more.
