Team -- When we launched All On The Line, we took a risk. Nothing like our movement had existed before. But President Obama, Attorney General Holder and so many of you truly believed that building this team would be important in the fight for fair maps.

We were right.

Yesterday, Colorado's Independent Congressional Redistricting Commission voted to remove Danny Moore as Chair in an 11-0-1 vote (the one abstention was Moore). Last week's reporting from The Colorado Springs Gazette revealed that Moore had made conspiratorial claims about the 2020 election and promoted racially-charged posts about COVID-19 on social media. It became absolutely clear that he was unfit to serve in a role charged with overseeing a fair redistricting process.

Before yesterday's decisive vote, All On The Line called for Moore's resignation, working with partners on the ground and launching a petition to have Moore step down from this position.

For redistricting commissions to be successful, they must be fair and independent, and officials who write racially charged social media posts and amplify election conspiracy theories can't be trusted with roles that require significant public trust. So we organized for change.

Public pressure worked. The infrastructure we built -- that you've helped us build in states across the country -- kicked into gear, and made sure that the Colorado redistricting process's independence was protected.

By listening to the outcry of citizens who were concerned about Moore's fitness to serve as chair, Colorado's Congressional Redistricting Commission has taken an important step toward ensuring a fair and inclusive process that includes robust public input. And now we know, without a shadow of a doubt, that our public input matters. Our movement is built to mobilize for change like this across the country throughout the redistricting process.

Let's keep building an infrastructure that gets results. I'm asking you to help fund this movement by chipping in $11 right now.

Thanks for being a part of this movement. Every victory is ours to share. Here's to many more.

-- Saumya
