One final update from Georgia this week

Here's what President Obama said about the state of our democracy.

We're seeing how far some will go to retain power and threaten the fundamental principles of our democracy. -- President Obama
We're seeing a lot of political theater and attempts to undermine elections this week -- Trump trying to coerce Georgia election officials, members of Congress objecting to certify election results, and even Pennsylvania state legislators refusing to swear-in a colleague.

But we also saw record turnout in Georgia's runoff election. When President Obama shared his take on how far some will go to retain power, he said: the best way for folks to fight back is with the most powerful tool they have -- their vote.

In light of the obstruction to fair elections that we're seeing this week, will you make a $15 donation right now to support our work to protect voting from election manipulators?

The fight to protect voting rights and fair elections didn't end on November 4, or even today after Georgia's runoff election. Because later this year, partisan politicians will try to manipulate elections before votes are even cast -- by gerrymandering our maps.

When President Obama emailed you in December, he warned that the other side would continue to use, "the power they gained through gerrymandering to limit voting rights and obstruct progress."

All On The Line launched the Grassroots Last Line of Defense Fund for this very reason: to hold extreme partisans accountable for undermining our democracy. Can I count on you to make a donation?

Extreme politicians and district distorters will try to maintain their power by manipulating the maps for another decade. But we can hold them accountable and stop their destruction of fair elections.

We ask for donations because your support helps us empower grassroots activists with the training, resources, and support they need to hold map manipulators accountable in gerrymandered states like Georgia -- a state that's proven that grassroots organizing can overcome schemes to restrict voters from making their voices heard.

We need to continue investing in our grassroots infrastructure if we want to protect our elections and end gerrymandering for the next decade. Can we count on you to make a donation -- of any amount -- and support our work?

We can put an end to this,
Theron Johnson
AOTL Georgia Director
