Our pursuit to end gerrymandering is rooted in restoring trust in our democracy.
There's no doubt that Supreme Court decisions have greenlit map manipulation and voter suppression which have undermined trust in our institutions. From the Court down, we're dealing with obstacles created by a conservative minority, exercising majority power.
We're building a grassroots-funded campaign that can overcome the conservative minority that is warping our institutions and bending them to their will. President Obama knows this. A.G. Holder knows this. It's why they're heavily invested in our work. You know this, too -- we all do, it's why we've joined this movement.
