Barack Obama: "It won't be easy"

Here's what President Obama said about his decision to endorse 118 Democratic candidates, including 54 NDRC candidates:

"Together, these candidates will help us redeem our country's promise by sticking up for working people, restoring fairness and opportunity to our system, and fighting for the good of all Americans -- not just those at the top."

"Restoring fairness" is key here, Diane. If these candidates win their races, they'll go on to fight for fair maps during next year's redistricting process.

But first we have to help them win in states like Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, and Texas. As President Obama said, it won't be a cakewalk, so we're relying on your grassroots support.
