-- President Obama | Indeed, supporting federal legislation to protect the right to vote and end congressional partisan gerrymandering is one of our top priorities at the NDRC. But with 2021 ending soon, it's more important than ever that the Senate take action on these bills!

Why by the end of the year? Two reasons: 1) 2022 is an election year, and many Congress members will be more focused on their campaigns than on legislation. 2) The quicker we get these bills passed and to President Biden's desk for signature, the sooner they can take effect and reverse Republicans' harmful gerrymanders from 2021.
