There is still a path for making real progress

2021 marked the start of the redistricting process and a shift in the fight for voting rights.

Diane -- 2021 marked the start of the redistricting process and a shift in the fight for voting rights.

Over the last few months, state legislatures in places like Texas and Georgia have enacted laws designed to prevent American citizens from exercising their right to vote. And those same states -- as well as others like Ohio and North Carolina -- have used gerrymandered maps to unfairly eliminate competitive congressional districts.

But even in the face of these threats, I'm inspired by this movement's commitment to our democracy. Will you consider making a donation to All On The Line so our work can continue in 2022?

Here's what grassroots donors like you made possible in 2021:

→ Tens of thousands of people took action to demand democracy reforms that would protect voting rights and end partisan congressional gerrymandering.
→ More than 30,000 people joined All On The Line's events and trainings across the country on everything from the basics of redistricting to how to give effective input at public hearings.
→ AOTL's team of mapping experts analyzed districts drawn by state legislatures and commissions to help give voters more information about the fairness or unfairness of different proposals.

All of this represents important progress. But the fight isn't over yet. Republican state legislatures are still working to disenfranchise voters and tilt the playing field in their favor -- and national Republicans are refusing to even allow a debate over legislation that would protect our democracy.

That's why it's so important to pass commonsense voting rights legislation like the Freedom to Vote Act, make sure congressional maps are being drawn fairly, and protect the integrity of our elections.

All On The Line has been incredibly effective at blunting some of the worst impacts of partisan gerrymandering, exposing the most egregious power grabs, and protecting the right to vote.

I am with you every step of the way, and I know you understand the urgency of this moment.

Can I count on you to make a contribution right now to All On The Line before the end of the year? The fight for fair maps will continue in 2022 and we need your help.
