What a night!

YOU made this possible.
Organizing for Action
Diane --

Thank you.

Since Election Night 2016, you've worked tirelessly for this moment.

We woke up the next morning with righteous anger -- but in the words of President Obama, change takes more than that. It takes a program, and it takes organizing.

So together, we made a plan. We circled November 6, 2018, on our calendars and we set out every day to fight for progress.

Last night, thanks to you, that plan paid off. We have changed our democracy for the better because of your hard work.

You organized. You volunteered. You demanded better. You got your friends to vote. You showed up and did the work, and here's what you have accomplished:
  • We took back the House of Representatives! OFA volunteers and supporters got involved in key districts all over the country -- in places that were far from easy -- and made an impact. YOU delivered wins in so many critical races.

  • We helped pass key ballot measures in 10 states -- demanding clean energy, expanding health care to 300,000+ people, and improving lives right now.

  • We helped elect candidates and pass initiatives nationwide that will end partisan gerrymandering and ensure fair representation.

  • We got people off the sidelines -- helping our friends and family vote in record numbers, volunteer for great candidates, and do their part to make our democracy better.
It happened because of you, Diane. Thank you. You reminded this country just how powerful it can be when we fight for what we believe in.

We're inspired and grateful.

Katie

This is important:

We cannot come up short tomorrow -- so please confirm your polling place, and then make sure your friends and family do, too.

DemocratsJoin us.
Tomorrow's elections are more important than any I can remember in my lifetime, and that includes when I was on the ballot.

We need to do everything we can to get our friends, neighbors, and family to vote tomorrow -- the stakes are simply too high to sit this one out.

Tomorrow is Election Day -- confirm your polling place now and then share this link with your friends and family to get them to vote with you:

We can tip the balance of power back to you -- the American people -- but only if our folks get out and vote. This election will come down to how many voters we get out to the polls tomorrow, and you're the best person to talk to your friends and family about why it's so important for them to cast a ballot.

We cannot come up short tomorrow -- so please confirm your polling place, and then make sure your friends and family do, too.

Thank you,

Barack

We have three days left:

In three days, we have a chance to flip Congress, governorships, and state legislatures across our country -- but first we have to put in the work to get out the vote for Democrats.

Fwd: I am personally asking for your support

President Obama is right: The stakes in this midterm election really are higher than they've ever been, and it will take each and every one of us doing all we can to take our country back.

DemocratsJoin us.
Did you see President Obama's message?

He's right: This is a pivotal moment for our country and our democracy -- and in this moment, indifference is not an option.

Take a moment to read President Obama's note, then donate $3 to stand with him in the fight to elect Democrats up and down the ballot in all 50 states.

All my best,

Tom

I am personally asking for your support at this critical moment for our party.

Whether or not Democrats can take back Congress, win governorships, and flip state legislatures depends entirely on how many voters we can reach in the next six days. If our party is able to reach enough folks and talk to them about how, when, and where to vote, we'll win.

The DNC has an impressive get-out-the-vote plan for the final days of this election, but they need your help to fully fund it. Will you donate $3 to support our party's last-minute GOTV efforts?

This is a pivotal moment for our country and our democracy -- and right now, indifference is not an option.

This whole project of self-government only works if everybody is doing their part. I'm hoping I can count on you to make your first donation of 2018 today.

Will you donate $3 to elect Democrats at this critical moment?

Thank you for all you do,

Barack

5 days, Diane

The greatest threat to our democracy is indifference.
Organizing for Action
Diane --

Tuesday's elections are more important than any I can remember in my lifetime -- and that includes when I was on the ballot. That's saying something.

Now I know politicians say all the time, "This is the most important election." But this one really is that important. The stakes really are that high.

The consequences of you not voting -- or not doing everything in your power to ensure your friends, family, and neighbors vote -- could be monumental.

America is at a crossroads, and control of Congress may be decided by a handful of razor-thin House and Senate races. Dozens of governorships and thousands of state legislative seats are up for grabs, with major implications on whether we can draw fairer maps for the next decade.

Make no mistake: The direction of the country will come down to who turns out and who stays home. And the greatest threat to our democracy is indifference.

Indifference is exactly what cynical politicians want from you. They're counting on it. Their success depends on convincing you that your vote doesn't matter. They know their agenda is unpopular, so the only way to keep power is by shrinking the electorate.

Don't let them.

If you're mad at politicians trying to take us back to the days of health insurers denying people with pre-existing conditions of care ... Vote.

If you're sick of politicians giving huge tax cuts to billionaires, only to tell you we have no choice but to slash Medicare and Social Security ... Vote.

If you're upset with politicians denying basic climate science as our communities continue to pay a steeper and steeper price ... Vote.

If you're outraged by politicians refusing to pass common-sense gun laws in the face of a tragic epidemic ... Vote.

If you're frustrated with politicians failing to adequately stand up for the rights of immigrants, or women, or LGBTQ Americans ... Vote. Vote. Vote.

Vote like our democracy depends on it, Diane. Make a commitment right now to get to the polls -- and get involved in these final 5 days.

I'm in

Thank you,

Barack Obama
