I know you're busy, but I just wanted to make sure you saw this email from President Obama.
President Obama knows that whichever party wins control of state legislatures wins the ability to draw electoral maps for the next 10 years. That's why he's working hard to support the NDRC's work to flip state legislative chambers across the country.

In 2010, Republicans rode a wave of special interest spending -- fueled by the Citizens United decision -- to flip hundreds of state legislative seats. They went on to manipulate our electoral maps the next year and we've been dealing with the results for the past decade.
Time and again, we have seen Democrats win more votes statewide but fail to flip congressional and state legislative seats simply because of the way the lines were drawn. And we feel the consequences of that map manipulation long after Election Day -- gerrymandering has been a huge barrier to achieving the progress Democrats are fighting for.
We can't allow this to happen again. We can't allow Joe Biden's administration to be hobbled by a gerrymandered Congress that cares more about power than progress. And we can't afford more of the same gerrymandered state legislatures that undermined voting rights and failed to expand Medicaid throughout the past decade.
