Diane -- When the Supreme Court ruled that federal courts won't limit partisan gerrymandering, it was a setback for our movement. But as President Obama said:

That ruling can't stop citizens from doing what it takes to protect our democracy and ensure that the rules of the road are fair. At the end of the day, it's up to us. President Obama. DONATE TO HELP THE NDRC PROTECT OUR DEMOCRACY

With Amy Coney Barrett now on the Supreme Court, our movement could be facing more setbacks in the years ahead. If she proves to be a reliable vote for conservatives, it could make our work to fight racial gerrymanders and enforce the Voting Rights Act that much harder.

But we've always known we can't depend on a single court or court decision to advance our movement. That's why we've always been focused on our state-by-state strategy for political change -- and that strategy has earned us some big wins since we started in 2017.

Our biggest test yet is coming up in just five days, though, and as President Obama said, it's up to us to get the job done. We're targeting THIRTEEN states this November, and we need your help to get Democrats to the redistricting table in all of them.

Will you pitch in before it's too late to help us keep up our work to defend voting rights and end GOP gerrymandering?

Thanks,
Team NDRC

A.G. Holder: If the NDRC is successful in undoing manipulated maps, we will be able to achieve a system in which everyone's vote counts

Since 2017, the NDRC has executed a comprehensive redistricting strategy that shifts the redistricting power, creating fair districts where Democrats can compete. Our victories have been made possible by our strong community of grassroots supporters. But 2020 will be our most important -- and toughest -- year yet. It's the last year before redistricting, which means it's our last chance to elect the Democrats we trust to fight for fair maps.

We know we send a lot of emails, but we think it's important to keep you updated with the latest information on Republican gerrymandering and voter suppression and how we're fighting back -- regardless of whether you choose to donate.
