We need five more from your area before midnight

Democrats
Diane --

When I ran my first campaign for state representative in Broward County, Florida, I spent a lot of time asking my family, neighbors, and friends for whatever they could spare to help support my campaign.

The only reason that I'm here today, sending you this email as Chair of the Democratic Party, is because those people stepped up -- and I'm grateful for their support every day, because I know what a difference it makes.

Before midnight tonight, we need five people from your area to join in and help Democrats do what my friends in Broward County helped me do: Win elections.

We're asking you to pitch in what you can, like $3 or so. And that's why it seems kind of unreal when I read about the latest right-wing billionaire who's dumping tens of millions of dollars to help extremist Republicans. I saw the other day that the Koch brothers are committing $125 million to back their candidates this fall.

$125 million? Can the $3 that people like you contribute to support Democrats stack up against that kind of cash?

Absolutely, and let me tell you why, Diane. Your $3, combined with the tens of thousands of other Democrats who are investing in this movement, will help counter the Koch brothers, and it's going to help build the type of organization that a bunch of free-spending billionaires are just never going to be able to build.

Trust me, I don't take asking you for $3 here and there lightly, Diane.

If you're able, pitch in before the deadline at midnight, and take ownership of this organization:

Thanks,

Debbie
