That is happening in our state legislatures right now. Republicans are introducing "election integrity" bills as the antidote to "voter fraud." These misnomers -- and the false narratives around them -- are part of a coordinated scheme to formalize voter suppression tactics.
All On The Line is working to bolster the integrity of our democracy so that our system is truly representative and voters have the power to hold elected officials accountable. Diane, will you make a donation to help this grassroots effort?

State legislatures have introduced more than 165 anti-democratic bills that would restrict voting -- all since the last election when record turnout helped elect pro-democracy candidates up and down the ballot.
I believe a dedicated grassroots movement can stop the current assault on voting rights. But as Eric Holder said recently, we shouldn't need to. There should be strong democracy laws on the books that prevent voter suppression and gerrymandering.
The For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act would write a whole new chapter for fairness in our democracy. We can't allow politicians to continue using tools of obstruction to erode the integrity of our democracy.
Together we can start a new chapter, Diane. Chip in a few dollars to support All On The Line's efforts to rebuild our democracy.
Passing both the For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act -- which will expand access to the ballot and restore the protections of the original Voting Rights Act -- is the most direct and immediate way to stop this new wave of voter suppression.
If we can pass comprehensive democracy reforms that will protect civil rights and create more fair elections, we'll be on the right path to a more perfect union.
Thank you for your support,
Barack Obama
