| Look, Diane, we are FRIGHTENED -- and not just because of all the Halloween movie marathons. Seriously, 10 years of Republican control in the states and in the U.S. House of Representatives is just about the scariest thing we can imagine. If that happens, you can say goodbye to health care expansion, climate action, gun violence prevention, and pretty much everything we care about.
A few weeks ago, President Obama said that "we have a once-in-a-decade chance to get our leaders to do the right thing" and approve fair maps. We agree -- and we intend to keep fighting tooth and nail in states where redistricting is underway and supporting efforts to defend fair maps in court. But time is running out -- maps in states like Texas and Ohio have already been signed into law! -- so we MUST hit our end-of-month goal to hit the ground running in November.
