Diane -- with our first monthly deadline of 2022 approaching, I want to recap where we are in the fight for fair maps: ☆ According to The Washington Post, 33 states have now adopted maps, leaving 17 states (and approximately 161 congressional districts) to go. ☆ But that number is a bit misleading, because in several states where Republicans have enacted manipulated maps, voters have filed lawsuits -- so nothing is settled yet. ☆ Recent victories, like the Ohio Supreme Court's rejection of gerrymandered maps, have given our movement new momentum. In short, redistricting ain't over till it's over -- and it's not over yet. That's why it remains critically important to hit our monthly goals. Can I count on you to pitch in before the end of January?
