President Obama is absolutely right:

Barack Obama: 'The fact is, the fight for fair maps is part of the fight to protect our democracy — and neither will be solved in just one redistricting cycle. Our opposition is counting on the NDRC to lose the energy and drive that our movement has sustained so far. We simply cannot afford to do that. Instead, I'm urging you to continue helping the NDRC deploy its proven strategy to ensure that voters decide our elections — not politicians.'
