Diane, President Obama had this to say about the NDRC's grassroots movement:

Our democracy is stronger because of the work Attorney General Eric Holder and the NDRC have done – and they're not slowing down. – President Obama

The NDRC's movement helped secure what the New York Times called "the fairest House map of the last 40 years." We also helped elect Democracy Defenders in key states across the country, and we helped defeat dangerous election deniers.

But just like President Obama said, we're not slowing down – instead, our plan is to double down on our democracy-saving work in priority states across the country where we'll fight to:

✅ PROTECT our fair maps victories.

✅ PREVENT GOP efforts to gerrymander maps and weaken our democracy.

✅ PROPEL toward a fair redistricting process, both now and in the future.

The NDRC counts on this grassroots team to power our work. We know not everyone can give every time we ask, but if even just 20% of the people reading this message pitch in, it will go a long way. As President Obama said, "While the pace of change can often be slow, a small group of people can still help us take a giant leap forward."
