| Diane -- Just wanted to make sure you saw the President's note from the other day. If you're ready to keep fighting for change, now's the time to answer his question and say you're in: http://my.barackobama.com/Are-You-In Thanks, Organizing for Action ----------Original Message---------- From: Barack Obama Subject: Hey Friend -- I keep a to-do list in my desk. It's ambitious, but you and I didn't set out to do easy things. As long as I can count on you to be a part of this, we will find a way to make progress on all of it -- continuing to create good-paying jobs, fixing our broken immigration system, finding a common-sense way to reduce gun violence in this country, and more. No president can do it alone. Say you're in: http://my.barackobama.com/Are-You-In There's a lot of work to do -- thanks for doing your part. Barack | |

Say you're in, Diane
| Diane -- President Obama is going to bat for us on the big issues we care about -- gun safety, climate change, marriage equality, immigration reform, and more. But he knows -- and so do we -- that he can't win those fights on his own. Every person who steps up and says they're with us makes our movement that much bigger, stronger, and that much more powerful in Washington. Go on -- say you're in today: http://my.barackobama.com/Are-You-In Let's get to work, Jon ----------Original Message---------- From: Barack Obama Subject: Hey Friend -- I keep a to-do list in my desk. Add your name for immigration reform
![]() | |
| Diane -- Trying to get Congress to pass good, progressive legislation isn't easy -- we know that pretty well by now. That's why this is so important: Right now, Congress is closer to passing comprehensive immigration reform than they've been in a generation. Last Tuesday, a smart, bipartisan bill for comprehensive immigration reform moved ahead toward a full vote in the Senate -- and that vote could happen in just a matter of weeks. If there was ever a time to get off the sidelines, it's now. Simply add your name and say you'll join our fight for immigration reform today. Just as we're going to rail on Congress when they cave to pressure from special interests and fail the people who sent them there, we're going to rally behind them when they start getting things done. The organizing on the ground, the Days of Action, the tweets, Facebook posts, and calls to Congress are working -- but we absolutely can not let up now. If we fail, it might be years before we get anywhere near this close again. Keep going. Add your name today: http://my.barackobama.com/Comprehensive-Immigration-Reform Thank you, Jon Jon Carson Executive Director Organizing for Action ---------------- A movement of millions elected President Obama. Russell Simmons, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Cory Booker, and you
![]() | |
| Diane -- Our immigration system is outdated, broken, and backward, and our nation's status as the center of technology and innovation is suffering because of it. It's time for Congress to act. Over the next two days, OFA is joining a team of organizations, tech companies, and entrepreneurs in the March for Innovation, a virtual event that we're hoping will get lawmakers' attention. Join in: Tweet at your senators, post on Facebook, or just call your members of Congress and join the drumbeat of Americans demanding comprehensive immigration reform now. Elected officials and celebrities -- like New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Newark Mayor Cory Booker, hip-hop legend Russell Simmons, and more -- will be passing the baton to one another online. OFA Executive Director Jon Carson will be joining in, too. And they're asking thousands of Americans to jump in and be a part of it. One tweet or one Facebook post is all it takes to add your voice. And think of what will happen when thousands of Americans do it around one issue, all at the same time? That's hard to turn a blind eye to. Join the conversation, seize the moment, and help get immigration reform passed: http://my.barackobama.com/March-for-Innovation Thanks, Emmy Emmy Ruiz Immigration Campaign Manager Organizing for Action P.S. -- If you want to find out more about the march -- and watch it happen in real time over the next two days, complete with videos, links to stories, and more -- just click here. ---------------- A movement of millions elected President Obama.
