We came up short → I'm asking you to donate to help close the gap

I am asking you to donate any amount you can afford to give to help Democrats close the gap on our June fundraising goal to win the White House and seats nationwide.

Trump and the RNC just announced they raised a staggering $105 million last quarter. That's tens of millions more than Obama's reelection effort at this same point. We don't have to outraise Trump and the RNC to win, but at some point if we fall too far behind, it becomes impossible for us to compete -- that's just a fact. Please, read Tom's note below and consider making a gift to support Democrats at this critical time. Friend -- Last week was a whirlwind for Democrats. For the first time ever, 20 of our Democratic presidential primary candidates took the debate stage to share their vision for America. Our party also faced our biggest FEC deadline of the 2020 cycle to date. I can't overstate how grateful I am to those of you who contributed, and how much of a difference you're making for the future of this country. Unfortunately, we didn't hit our end-of-quarter goal. Missing important fundraising goals like yesterday's forces us to make tough decisions about our priorities. It could mean fewer organizers on the ground in battleground states, fewer training programs for campaigns and state parties, or less resources to help Democrats win. But I'm still hopeful. I believe that today -- if we all come together -- we can still make up the difference. Will you help the Democratic Party hit our goal by donating $3 right now? I realize that I come to you often to ask for your support for Democrats, and that not everyone can afford to donate every time we ask. With Trump and Republicans unraveling the very fabric of our democracy, we simply must win seats up and down the ticket in 2020. We must send a Democrat to the White House, flip the Senate, hold our House majority, and win state and local elections in every municipality in this country. And to do all of that, we have no choice but to put in the work now -- when it matters the most. I mean it when I say we cannot win without you.
