 Just last quarter, Donald Trump and the RNC raised over $105 million. And they're raising funds with the advantage of already knowing who their 2020 nominee will be. But the Democratic Party has something the GOP doesn't: A slate full of highly qualified candidates, any of whom would make a better president than the one currently occupying the Oval Office. While we don't know which candidate voters will choose, we do know that they are going to need a strong, well-funded, and well-resourced DNC in order to win back the presidency. That's why President Obama launched the Democratic Unity Fund a few months ago -- an effort entirely dedicated to lifting our eventual nominee and candidates up and down the ticket to victory in 2020. While 30,242 Democrats have already contributed to the fund, we're still being outraised by Trump and the RNC -- which is why today, a group of our 2020 presidential candidates are joining forces to help us close this fundraising gap. In honor of their commitment to making sure our eventual nominee has a strong party behind them and that Democrats up and down the ballot can win, can you make a special $3 donation to the Democratic Unity Fund today? The way I see it, our eventual nominee won't stand a chance against Trump and the GOP's fundraising machine unless we make strategic, early investments right now. Part of our 2020 strategy includes hiring and training organizers in key battleground states, investing in new technologies and cybersecurity measures, and maintaining a top-of-the-line voter file -- all of which will require a continuous flow of money from now until Election Day in order to maintain.
