Give me a moment to tell you why: Back in May, President Obama unveiled the Democratic Unity Fund. He explained how important this fund would be to the success of our eventual nominee and Democrats up and down the ticket. He also explained how important it is to support the fund now, while it's still early in the race and our party still has time to meaningfully invest in the infrastructure it will take to win the White House and seats nationwide. Building out a world-class ground game, overhauling our tech and data, and hiring experienced voter protection staff can't happen overnight. By becoming a Democratic Unity Fund Sustainer, you can play a huge role in funding this critical work. Start a monthly donation to the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund today. Your consistent support from now until Election Day -- of any amount you can afford -- will provide our eventual nominee and Democrats everywhere the strong Democratic Party they'll need to fight and win. These are just some of the key 2020 programs your monthly investment in the fund would help power: Early organizing in battleground states is critical to supporting our eventual nominee in their path to 270. By investing in organizing earlier than ever before, the Democratic Party is building the rock-solid ground game our nominee for president and Democrats up and down the ticket will need to engage with key communities, build a strong field infrastructure, and mobilize voters to the ballot box. Engaging core constituency groups helped Democrats win last cycle, and we're building on that momentum by continuing key programs like A Seat at the Table, an initiative to meaningfully engage and organize with Black women; Mujeres Mobilized, a program to engage, empower, and organize alongside Latinas; and New Blue Crew, which aims to mobilize young voters and student leaders. I'm proud that the DNC is dedicated to empowering these communities as key decision makers in our fight for 2020.
