Diane -- Let me tell you why I'm excited to join President Obama and A.G. Holder at our first-of-its-kind grassroots virtual event on Friday.

Voters all across the country, myself included, plan to cast their ballots this fall because we know what's at stake this year. Electing fair-map advocates in 2020 will help determine if we can end gerrymandering during the redistricting process in 2021.

President Obama and A.G. Holder are holding a grassroots event together to talk directly to supporters to explain why this year's elections are so important for redistricting and how we need to get involved in the fight for fair maps next year.
