"Voter fraud" is a myth that's been pushed by Republicans for years as an excuse to pass voter suppression laws. Now after an election won by Democrats and contested by Donald Trump and his enablers in Congress, the GOP is using cries of "voter fraud" and "election integrity" to advance an unprecedented number of restrictions.
We won't let them get away with it. The NDRC is supporting the federal For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, we're speaking out against voter suppression all over the country, we're encouraging state legislatures to pass voting access laws, and of course we're working to prevent gerrymandering so that everyone's vote counts equally.
