Last week when President Obama sent out a message to the All On The Line community, we saw one of the highest grassroots donation drives that I can remember -- $12,084 in one hour!
Today I'm launching a 24-hour grassroots fundraising drive to try to match it. Will you chip in $35? That was the average grassroots donation we received during that hour.
President Obama was right to call this time a "turning point in the redistricting process." Now that states have redistricting data, we will see initial maps drawn as soon as September!
We've been preparing for this moment for a long time. But with the delays in releasing the census data, the redistricting timelines in most states are much more condensed than we originally anticipated. And to be honest, those changes impact our budget and ability to respond to situations in our target states.
I wanted to ask you to chip in because I'm hoping we can keep up this grassroots momentum.
