Its goal is to make elections irrelevant, so that no matter what the voters want, Republicans always stay in power." | Paul gets it. Republican gerrymandering in 2021, and the sheer brazenness of it, has reached a new level. What's at stake isn't just who wins the next election -- it's whether or not our votes mean anything.

Here's the good news: I firmly believe we can beat them. But it's going to take everyone reading this rising to the challenge right now, before it's too late.
This is the community that played a role in the defeat of Donald Trump in 2020 and helped save our country from authoritarianism. Together we helped elect governors and state legislators who are at this moment working to prevent gerrymandering. I know we can do it again. President Obama does, too -- he recently said "I believe that, together, we can put power back in the hands of voters where it belongs."
