| Diane -- CNN recently reported that the "voting rights fight [is] shift[ing] back to statehouses." That doesn't phase us at the NDRC. Back in 2019, A.G. Holder said this in response to a Supreme Court ruling: In fact, going state by state has been our strategy since we launched the NDRC in 2017. We knew that organizing in the states was the only way to undo Republicans' awful 2011 gerrymanders.
Thanks to supporters like you, our work is paying off. The Washington Post reports that "There has been a redistricting turnaround" and fair maps have been adopted in places from Iowa to Colorado to California and more. The fair maps movement has also had some promising victories in the past few months in states like Ohio and Alabama.
