We're seeing progress in the fight for fair maps -- but we can't forget that the attack on voting rights is a multi-front battle. And conservatives are committed to perpetuating voter suppression and map manipulation.
A new analysis by Mother Jones found a "staggering" rise in voter suppression after the GOP recently passed unnecessary voter restrictions in Georgia.

Republicans are taking notes on what's happening in Georgia and have started executing similar right-wing schemes to undermine democracy. One Texas county just rejected HALF of their mail-in ballot applications after new voter restrictions went into effect.
Gerrymandering is just another tool used to restrict voting. As President Obama pointed out, "Republican politicians are doubling down on the steps they've taken to restrict voting by politically gerrymandering districts in a way that drowns out the voices of ordinary people."
