My 'Bama Says: President Obama and A.G. Holder have made it perfectly clear:

Last November, the NDRC's grassroots movement won big victories for democracy. We helped defeat election deniers in states like Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin… …and we helped Democrats win full control of state government in states like Michigan and Minnesota.

But A.G. Holder and President Obama have made it perfectly clear: Our fight to defend democracy is far from over.

Our democracy is still at risk. We should not think that because we had a fairly good result in the last election that everything is fine. There are still people who are determined through gerrymandering, through voter suppression, through attacks on our election infrastructure in our nation to try to come up with ways to hold on to power to which they are not entitled. The fight to safeguard our democracy is happening every day. That's how it's always been, and that's how it will continue.
