My 'Bama Says: If you thought redistricting was over, think again

We wanted to make sure you saw this, Diane: According to POLITICO, Republican plans for "ambitious gerrymandering" in key states could have a huge impact on the next election:

"Republicans could more than double their five-seat House majority through redistricting alone. That would give Speaker Kevin McCarthy a much-needed cushion in 2024."

Last November, our movement helped secure what the New York Times called "the fairest House map of the last 40 years." Now, with more redistricting on the horizon, we have two options:

OPTION ONE:
We can do nothing and let the GOP roll back our progress.

Years from now, we'll look back on the 2022 election as the high watermark for fair maps, after which the GOP returned to unchecked gerrymandering.

OPTION TWO:
We can continue fighting for even fairer maps in 2024 and beyond!

Years from now, we can look back and know we did everything we could to strengthen our democracy.

Conservative lawmakers are hell-bent on tearing down our fair maps progress, so we simply cannot afford to grow complacent.
