Diane -- Everyone from Pope Francis to the Pentagon agrees it's time to take action on climate change. That's why it's embarrassing that so many governors and members of Congress refuse to even acknowledge that climate change is real and caused by burning fossil fuels. This shouldn't be controversial or subject to partisan debate. Beating back climate change denial is a fight we need to win, if we're going to effectively tackle this issue as a nation. Stand up for science today -- add your name to help call out climate change deniers. President Obama has taken historic steps forward to reduce our carbon emissions and forge agreements with countries like China and India, to combat this issue on a global scale. Meanwhile, the evidence shows that our communities are being affected today by more frequent and severe droughts, floods, wildfires, and storms. We're seeing these impacts in every region of the country. Climate change deniers haven't just turned their back on science -- they're standing in the way of taking serious action. But they're running out of excuses, and Americans are running out of patience. Now is the time to call out climate change denial wherever we see it -- add your name to join the team today: http://my.barackobama.com/Expose-Climate-Change-Deniers Thanks, Abby Abby Witt Managing Director Organizing for Action | |
