1. Obama Promises Dreamers He Won't Back Down - Huffington Post

"I want to be as clear as possible: I will veto any legislation that got to my desk that took away the chance of these young people who grew up here and who are prepared to contribute to this country that would prevent them from doing so," Obama said after meeting with the Dreamers, echoing previous veto threats.

2. Obama 2016 budget urges states to cut emissions faster - Reuters

President Barack Obama's fiscal 2016 budget proposes boosting funding for clean energy by 7 percent and a new $4 billion fund to encourage U.S. states to make faster and deeper cuts to emissions from power plants, officials said Monday...Obama has made fighting climate change a top priority in his final two years in office. The White House sees it as critical to his legacy.
