The Freedom To Vote Act is a key component of our strategy to prevent Republican gerrymandering and voter suppression. In addition to combating damage from many of the state-level laws the GOP has passed this year to restrict voting rights, it would ban partisan gerrymandering of congressional districts immediately after going into effect and strengthen protections for communities of color.
