| First we launched the NDRC to prevent Republicans from manipulating the maps the way they did in 2011. We helped give Democrats a seat at the map-drawing table and supported redistricting reforms.
Then thanks to your help, we were able to secure what The New York Times called the most balanced congressional map in a generation.
But Republicans doubled down on their gerrymandering, leading President Obama to warn us that "The gains we've made in this redistricting cycle are fragile."
So now, we're taking the fight into the 2022 midterm elections by targeting dozens of races that will determine whether we can achieve fair redistricting and a functioning democracy.
And we urgently need your help with all our work, Diane.
