This is so important, Diane

I recently returned from Paris, where I met with leaders from nearly 200 countries who all feel the same urgency for addressing climate change that we do, and I wanted to touch base with you because this is so important.

You and I have been at the forefront of this fight for a long time now, Diane -- I'm asking you to continue to stand with me to make sure America keeps leading on climate action.

Right now, we're developing more affordable energy from solar and wind than ever before, and we're continuing to significantly reduce our carbon emissions. Just last month, we stood our ground by saying no to the Keystone XL pipeline, because we know that such investments work against our duty to protect our planet for future generations.

We're making real progress together, and that should give us hope, but we need to keep facing this problem head-on, with long-term solutions.

That's why I need you standing with me on this, Diane -- so add your name to say you're committed to fighting climate change:

Thanks for doing this today, Diane. We'll talk again soon.
