| Diane In just over two weeks, by August 16, the Census Bureau will release the final redistricting data states need to draw their maps. As President Obama said, we need to be prepared. Republicans across the country are already making plans for how exactly they want to gerrymander: everything from which cities they'll break up to which Democratic members of Congress to target. They think they can do whatever they want and that no one will care -- but we think they're wrong.
That's because we're building a huge movement with plans to: - ⇢ Analyze all proposed maps with the help of experts
- ⇢ Get the public engaged in redistricting
- ⇢ Hold Republicans accountable for attempts to gerrymander
- ⇢ And support plaintiffs in lawsuits to keep redistricting fair.
