-- The Hill Justice Elena Kagan slammed the conservative majority for neglecting the historical context of the Voting Rights Act and Republicans' constant attacks on the freedom to vote, particularly for people of color. The Hill reports that her dissent could "become a rallying cry for Democratic lawmakers and progressive activists pushing for election reform laws" -- which is exactly what we need at this moment!
