| Big news, Diane: The Census Bureau is expected to release final redistricting data exactly one month from today, on August 16. Republicans across the country are already making plans for how exactly they want to manipulate the maps. They're talking about everything from which cities they'll break up to which Democratic members of Congress they'll gerrymander out of their districts. They think they can get away with all of it -- but we think they're wrong.
That's because we're putting together a MASSIVE movement to stop them. We're getting the public engaged, we have experts on hand to analyze the maps, and we're ready to hold Republicans accountable and even support plaintiffs in lawsuits if necessary. But how much we can do -- whether we can prevent GOP gerrymandering all over the country -- depends on you, Diane.
