What we do on the ground from now until Election Day is going to decide this election -- it's just that simple.
According to our records for this email address, it looks like you might not have committed to a volunteer shift yet:
-- Total shifts you've committed to for the 2012 campaign: None yet
Are you ready to change that? People are coming together on Saturday and Sunday for one of our last weekends of action.
Sign up right now for a shift -- or a couple -- this weekend in Tappahannock
Here are the details:
What: Weekend of action
Meet at: 1338D Tappahannock Blvd.
Tappahannock, VA 22560
When: Shifts available all weekend
See all the events near you this weekend.
We're in the final stretch, and pitching in has never been more important.
When you talk to a neighbor, or connect with a voter, you're taking this election in your hands. And that's how we're going to win.
It matters -- what we do together these next 12 days is so incredibly important.
So can you come out and meet the other volunteers in Tappahannock? Sign up for one or more shifts and pitch in this weekend:
I hope you'll get out there.
National Field Director
Obama for America
P.S. -- If you've volunteered more than the number of times above, thank you! Some shifts you've completed might not be reflected in the total, especially if you signed up with another email address, over the phone, or if those shifts haven't happened yet. But don't worry -- you've had a big impact on this election.
Contributions or gifts to Obama Victory Fund 2012 are not tax deductible.
The first $2,500 from a contributor to Obama Victory Fund 2012 will be allocated to Obama for America, designated for the general election. The next $30,800 from a contributor will be allocated to the Democratic National Committee. Any additional amount(s) from a contributor will be divided among the State Democratic Party Committees as follows, up to $10,000 per committee and subject to the biennial aggregate limits: OH (24%), FL (15%); WI (12%); IA (10%); NV (10%); VA (9%); CO (7%); NC (7%); PA (3%); and NH (3%). A contributor may designate a contribution for a particular participant. This allocation formula may change if following it would result in an excessive contribution. Contributions will be used in connection with a Federal election, may be spent on any activities of the participants as each committee determines in its sole discretion, and will not be earmarked for any particular candidate.
