Diane, here's why I need your help:

Diane -- No matter who we as Democrats nominate for president or which Republican we're up against, I can tell you one thing for sure: This election is going to be close. It'll probably be a nail biter. And you know what, Diane? That's great news. I started in politics as a grassroots candidate for Richmond City Council. I didn't raise a lot of money, but I learned to win by knocking on doors and energizing volunteers. As a Democratic Party, we know the value of smart, effective grassroots organizing. We know the value of canvassing, making calls, getting the word out about our candidates, and getting our people to the polls.
