Diane -- One lucky supporter will be flying to Washington, D.C., this November to meet President Obama at OFA's Organizing Summit. Have you entered yet? As a former D.C. resident, I wanted to pass along a few suggestions -- it's an amazing place to visit. It's no secret that our nation's capital has a ton of monuments -- my personal favorite is the FDR memorial -- and if you get a chance to see them lit up at night, you should take it. It's also a city full of history, and there are great ways to experience it. From neighborhood walking tours to the Smithsonian museums, don't miss the chance to see things like our Constitution firsthand. And if you're looking for great food, there are plenty of options all over town. (Don't worry if you can't choose just one -- the food trucks at Farragut Square make it easy to try a whole bunch while you're on the go!)
