Eleven Republicans walk into the Ronald Reagan Library (stop me if you've heard this)

DemocratsJoin us.
Diane --

Los Angeles is known as the entertainment capital of the world, and I just flew in for what promises to be the most outrageous show in town -- tonight's GOP debate.

From frontrunner Donald Trump all the way down to Chris Christie (whose approval ratings in his home state have sunk to the basement), this motley crew of Republicans has kept us on our toes all summer. I may not know exactly what offensive things we'll hear tonight in Simi Valley, but I can guarantee that the rhetoric will be ridiculous, the policies will be out-of-touch, and, as always, the rampant sexism will be alive and well. Whatever takes place on that debate stage will show us exactly why we can't afford to let any of these folks become our next president. That's why it's so important that we watch tonight, Diane.

You know, it's fitting that tonight's debate is taking place at the Ronald Reagan Library -- since every single candidate who will be on stage is dead-set on rolling back all of the progress Democrats have made, and would just love to take us back to the failed economic and social policies of the Reagan era.

This is going to be must-see TV, Diane, so make sure to tune in tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET. We'll even send you a reminder when we get closer to showtime:
