From: President Obama; To: Diane

Hey -- We're still 5,129 donations away from reaching our goal today.

We need to hit these benchmarks every day for the next 75 days so we can elect Hillary, win back our majorities in Congress, and finish the work we started over these past eight years.

That's why President Obama is counting on you to step up. Diane, can you pitch in $10 or more before midnight?

Subject: This only works if we do our jobs

Friend --

My grandmother used to tell me, "If you want to judge how somebody is going to do, look at what they've done."

To me, that is the only case you need to make for why Hillary Clinton is the most qualified person to ever run for the office of President of the United States. Because she's done the work. She's walked the walk and has shown exactly what kind of leader she will be once she takes the Oath of Office.

But we need to do our part to make sure she gets there.

We've come so far together these past eight years, but we've still got a lot of work to do. There are still too many folks out there who don't make enough money to get beyond the worries of paying their bills at the end of the month -- and that's assuming they have a job. There are still people who don't have health insurance -- not because we haven't tried, but because Republican governors have been resistant and a Republican majority in Congress has not wanted to work with us to close those final gaps in coverage.

But I know what Hillary Clinton has done. I know the battles she's already fought and won. And I know she's the right person to finish those jobs and then some.

But that means until the last polls close on November 8th, we also have to do our jobs. Because if we don't, it's still possible for her to lose. We have to continue to be engaged. We have to make phone calls, knock on doors, rally our friends and neighbors to get to the polls and even help out themselves and volunteer.

And if we do all that, then Hillary will be elected President of the United States. We'll also give her a Congress that will actually work with her, and we'll be able to elect Democrats all the way down the ticket, all across the country.

As of tomorrow, there are 75 days left until Election Day. So we're setting a pretty ambitious goal of 60,000 donations before then. Can I count on you to make one of them?

If you've saved your payment information, your donation will go through immediately.
