Hey, Diane -- Trump's first ad of the general election is on the air. It demonizes immigrants -- not a surprise considering that he launched his campaign by calling Mexican immigrants rapists and murderers -- and falls in line with Trump's campaign strategy of dividing Americans so he can win the presidency.
He's spending $4 million to run it in Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Florida. That's a serious commitment in states where we can't afford to lose ground -- and where we've got some big Senate races on the ballot, too.
Can you pitch in $3 or more to help us fight back?

Subject: Trump's first TV ads:
Tomorrow, Donald Trump is launching his first television ads of the general election.
We don't know yet what these ads will say. But we do know what Trump himself has said throughout this campaign -- how he's called Hillary Clinton "the devil" and President Obama the "founder of ISIS." We know that his new top campaign strategist was once described as "the Leni Riefenstahl of the Tea Party movement" -- a favorable comparison to the Nazi propagandist.
And we know that Trump and the GOP raised more than $80 million in July and have not spent a dime of that on attack ads. Until now.
If I were a betting kind of guy, I'd bet that we're about to be up against a whirlwind of attacks, lies, and conspiracies at every commercial break. So if you were waiting for the moment when your donation can do the most to help us combat what the other side is saying about Hillary and Democrats, I'm here to tell you: this is it.
