Diane: See you in D.C. next month?

Diane --

Nearly 30 years ago, I got my start as a community organizer on the South Side of Chicago.

In the decades since, I've met countless organizers, each with their own unique story -- their own reason for doing their part to help build a better tomorrow.

If you enter OFA's contest to meet me in D.C. next month, I could get to hear yours.

I've met parents who tell me that they're fighting climate change to leave behind a livable planet for their children.

I've met kids who want to see our broken immigration system fixed to prevent their families from being torn apart.

The great thing about grassroots organizing is that moment of inspiration is different for each of us.

Those stories are where movements get their power.

I hope you have a story you're proud to tell.

Share what first inspired you, and you'll be automatically entered for a chance to win a trip to meet with me in our nation's capital:

Or just throw your name in the hat for a chance to win:

Thank you,

Barack Obama
