You and Barack should meet

Diane:

From where Barack and I stand, the work you do is invaluable.

With OFA, you've been an instrumental part of the progress we've fought for -- change that's improving people's lives all across the country. You'll be telling your grandkids about the role you played to help get the job done.

OFA is a force for so much progress -- that's because you never stop organizing, and you're not afraid to tell people why you're part of this movement.

Those stories add up, and they motivate others to join you. Share yours with OFA today, and you could come to D.C. next month to meet with Barack.

Here's my story: After I graduated from law school, I thought I had arrived. I was working in a big corporate law firm in a tall building in Chicago. I was getting a big paycheck and paying off my student loans, and my family was so proud of me.

But soon I began to feel like something was missing. I realized that I didn't want to be up in that skyscraper representing corporate clients. I wanted to be down on the ground helping folks in the neighborhood where I had grown up. So I left that law firm job and started working in city government. I eventually wound up running a non-profit organization called Public Allies that trained young people to serve their communities.

My mother thought I was crazy for giving up my prestigious law firm job, but I was happier than I'd been in years. I woke up every morning excited to go to work, inspired by the people I was working with and the causes we were fighting for.

So that's my story, and now we want to hear yours. And do it right away -- tomorrow is the last day to be automatically entered for the chance to have OFA host you for a meeting with Barack.

Go for it:
